As well as hosting evening dinners and galas, we also love to welcome guests for daytime occasions. We are a really popular choice for corporate luncheons, networking lunches, business lunches and daytime charity events. Our choice of 14 rooms means we can host everything from smaller private dining occasions to large-scale lunches for 450 guest with ease, all in the totally unique setting of the Great Yorkshire Showground.
Our Menus – Our Food Ethos
Exceptional events deserve an exceptional food. Our talented chefs from locally renown Kings Catering, pride themselves on creating premium quality menus that are totally aligned to your event and your guests.
In line with the ethos of our charity, the Yorkshire Agricultural Society we champion local farmers and celebrate local food producers.
Our Head Chef, Ian King, has personally visited over 300 local producers so we can be sure we are serving you the very best and this list is revised and reviewed on a regular basis. Many of the core producers used in our menus are the same as the ones we use in Fodder, our sister farm shop and café
Our Rooms
We have 14 stunning spaces accommodating a really wide range of dining events from small gatherings to larger awards dinners and luncheons for up to 450 people.
Each room can be styled to suit your theme or your branding.
The carefully thought-out layout of our venue means our main rooms each have their own separate reception rooms with built in bars, as well as private gardens and entrances, and all of our guests of course, have access to our free on-site parking.

Need Somewhere Larger?
If you’re looking to hold a larger dining event, our sister venue, The Great Yorkshire Events Centre, is the perfect venue for a gala dinner for up to 2,000 guests with capacity for a full stage and AV set.
Accomodation
We are located less than 2 miles from the centre of Harrogate which is home to more than 2000 hotel bedrooms. We work closely with hotel partners in Harrogate so please just let our team know if you’d like accommodation for your guests.
Our team can also help with shuttle transport to and from local hotels for your guests.
